Welcome to the 2025 Coastal Rugby season.

Coastal Rugby was saddened by the passing of our Patron Margaret in December, who along with her late husband Bernie were founding members of our club in 1995. We warmly welcome Claude Riordan as our new Patron.  Claude is a former Chair and Life Member of the Okato Rugby Club, and Chair of Coastal Rugby.  Claude remains a keen supporter of Coastal Rugby, so please introduce yourselves when you see him on a Saturday.

It was agreed by clubs and TRFU to extend the playing season for Premier games from 12 to 14 games (plus semis and finals) this year, with Division 1 and Colts playing a 12 game season (plus semis and finals also, which we intend being in!)

We start the 2025 season this Saturday with a home game at Rahotu v Tukapa for all 3 teams with Division 1 and Colts kicking off at 1pm, followed by Premier at 2.45pm.  Squads are looking good and training well, after 2 pre-season games against Otorohanga and Te Kawau.

Thanks to all sponsors and members for their generous support which enables Coastal Rugby to operate, providing a venue and activity for players, and entertainment and source of pride for all.
